Meet Our Leadership Team
William Wollrab is the founder of AllPeople. As an angel investor and entrepreneur, Bill co-founded The Yard House restaurant chain, which was eventually sold to the Olive Garden for $585 million in 2012. Bill also created successful careers in investment real estate and investment banking. Over ten years ago, Bill began thinking about actionable solutions that businesses could take to address economic inequality, which he believes is the root of many of today’s socioeconomic problems. He founded AllPeople as a shared ownership, alternative eCommerce marketplace which also pledges to give back to the non-profit organizations doing the work to improve our communities and environment.
Director of Operations
Kristin Mehiel is AllPeople’s project manager and a sales and marketing expert with 20 years of experience. Most recently, Kristin was an integral member of the executive teams at two national companies. She was the Head of Sales and Market Development with Experts Exchange, leading the B2B sales strategy and corresponding teams; and she was the Director of Market Development with Kibo, formerly Shopatron, a SaaS-based, distributed order management eCommerce company. Prior to moving to the Central Coast in 2005, Kristin was the founding publisher of DiningOut Orange County, the leading publication for fine dining and specialty restaurants.
Trent Ellingsen is a seasoned software engineer with over 15 years of experience, building websites, mobile apps, leading teams of developers and starting his own business. The most recent teams he’s been on previously have been MINDBODY Inc where he was on the team that created the consumer app and helped scale it to over 2 Million Users. He also built a specialized social platform which he grew to over 80,000 users in just a year. He’s been happily married since 2014, has two boys, is a faithful attender and deacon of his local church, enjoys playing board games with friends, and continues to grow in his knowledge of business and the world.
Rich Vann is a co-founder of AllPeople. Rich has over 30 years of experience in software and cloud systems development, primarily with start-ups in both technical and directing roles, Most recently Rich was the founder of Fairopolis, an ecommerce platform and directory for cooperatives. As co-owner of Shepherd CMMS, Rich developed the Shepherd CMMS Field Service/Maintenance Management SuiteApp on the NetSuite platform. Prior to that Rich was VP of Engineering for Nuehealth, a SalesForce-based patient management system. Rich was also a core developer of the original NetSuite and SalesForce-based RootStock ERP/MRP system, the premier ERP application on the SalesForce platform.
John Katovich, an advisor for AllPeople, has over 30 years of experience as a securities lawyer and entrepreneur. He was General Counsel at the Pacific Stock Exchange and the Boston Stock Exchange and the Chief Regulator Officer for the NASDAQ subsidiary that regulates options trading. He also served as General Counsel for two technology startups where he participated in both public and private financings. He has represented and dealt with major securities regulators and governmental entities, including, among others, the SEC, FINRA, state regulators, congressional banking and finance subcommittees, the CFTC, and emerging/developing country governments as an advisor and consultant in capital market development. He is a registered representative of Bequia Securities. He also was part of the team that designed and introduced the iShares ETF product to Barclays Bank.
Kim Arnone, an advisor for AllPeople, specializes in developing community capital raising strategies for social enterprises, cooperatives and nonprofits. She works primarily on investment offerings that can be publicly offered and that are open broadly to community members. Kim has assisted a wide range of enterprises in successfully raising capital; from a worker-owned green waste recycling company to an organic farm, from a rural community development fund to an urban food coop. Kim has been with Cutting Edge for 5 years and has been practicing law for 20 years. She has her Juris Doctorate from Hastings College of Law, where she was editor-in-chief of the Women’s Law Journal. Kim lives, works, and plays in Oakland.
Tanya Marushkevych, an advisor at AllPeople, is a highly skilled BI and Analytics Consultant and marketing professional with the innate ability to translate the numbers into business insights. With a proven ability to combine technical skills and a deep understanding of the business, Tanya strives to discover hidden data patterns that are meaningful and will help to provide answers to the business’ questions and, ultimately, lead to overall success. As a Marketing Analytics Principal Consultant at FICO, Tanya is focused on establishing test and control strategies to understand and measure campaign performance.
Dmytro Marushkevych, an advisor at AllPeople, is a skilled data-driven marketer focused on helping companies utilize the full potential of their data. Dmytro develops targeted strategies to identify, acquire, and retain the best customers while helping companies better understand their targeted segments. WIth over 25 years of data and marketing experience, Dmytro is currently the Senior Director, Data Science at Publicis Sapient in San Luis Obispo, CA. In every position he has held, Dmytro is dedicated to building solutions that bring results.
Brian Dolan is a 15+ year veteran of the brand marketing world with experience managing over 30 brands across 20+ categories in various leadership positions at Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, Reckitt Benckiser & Capital One. His work on winning campaigns for iconic brands like DOVE®, AXE®, SUAVE®, VASELINE®, LISTERINE®, MUCINEX® and AIRBORNE® has won multiple Cannes Lion, Effie & Clio awards. Most recently, Brian served as Brand Marketing Director of Reckitt’s >$600M Vitamins & Supplements portfolio, launching the NEURIVA® brand in 2019 to #2 in the brain health category. He now leads his own marketing consulting business, Brand Champions Consulting, and serves as business development lead for CPG Camp, the largest boot camp in North America for aspiring brand marketers.
Rick Cardenas graduated cum laude from California State University, Northridge in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing and a Minor in Economics. Shortly after graduating, he accepted a position at NUVOtv as an Office Assistant where he gained a solid understanding of the interworkings of a TV network and contributed to numerous departments, including the Marketing team. In this period, Rick taught himself how to use Google Analytics to pull and analyze reports on NUVOtv’s website.
